Great American Casino Closes The Back Door

By Graeme • February 12th, 2010

Great American Casino in Seattle, Washington are about to close all “back doors” by implementing ICOS at all of their casinos. The Tukwila casino has been using ICOS for over a year and Steve Martin, Surveillance Manager had the following to say amongst other things, “One of the strong suits of ICOS that drew attention from Great American is the focus on the human element in the casino operation where the system involves the human resources department, which not only documents and identifies problems, but ensures follow through. Graeme Powell and his team have fully supported the product, make sure you have a good understanding of its operation, and are continually providing updates and improvements.”

According to Noah Turner in iGaming Business Magazine (Dec 2008), The Bigger They Are, the Harder they Fall, “Compliance should never be overlooked. Failing to keep up can mean failing to make money. Administrative tools help an organization protect itself from the damaging effects of negligence and fraud both by external sources and an organization’s own staff, by ensuring that policies and procedures are strictly followed.”

Great American Casino are making sure their profits don’t leave via the back door!
