I received an email that was music to my ears! Steve Martin, Surveillance Manager at Great American Casino in Seattle had the following to say about the latest release of our ICOS software, “This is powerful as we may have logs, video, pictures and reports in a single location. We don’t have to go on a fishing spree closing out different programs to view different things. Since our relationship has developed my job has become much easier along the way.”

Traditionally, we are used to shopping around for a software suite that fits our needs as close as we can get to them, but to one extent to another we can never get everything we want and must settle for the closest solution. When we are dealing with large corporations that build our hardware or software you can almost forget about asking for revisions to meet your specific requirements, or it will be a long time before it ever happens. Whether you operate your business in the United States, Europe, South Africa etc we all have different needs, and there really isn’t a single solution that strikes every point.
But how would you like having a company working just for you. How would you like the ability to ask for a change in your reporting capabilities and getting it in a relatively short time. This is what it is like working with Graeme Powell and his staff at Beyond PMC who have created a very workable platform to work from in ICOS.
One of the things I have to admire with Beyond is that they start off with the basics first and make each component stable before progressing into more complex blocks before it is time. I can speak from direct experience that a number of companies cram everything into a suite where some things don’t work at all, and the system is riddled with bugs and problems. Graeme Powell’s staff is the direct opposite in ensuring what you get in ICOS works. If there is a bug in ICOS it is fixed very quickly, and more importantly it remains fixed.
In the past my reporting to upper management was quite laborious, and the bosses had to look at our data in different programs and locations. With ICOS everything is pooled into a single location with little effort.
When your surveillance staff, upper management and company president love the tools given to work with and the reporting capabilities you know you’ve hit a sure winner.
