Question:

If online poker was available when Victoria became interested in poker, she would have learn’t online. What if a casino provided online poker where people could learn and earn coupons for exchange at their brick and mortar casino. Do you think this form of marketing could increase casino walkthrough?

It wouldn’t hurt as the expense of setting up a site isn’t drastic, but keep in mind it is possible to drive the potential player to stick with online play for money. The poker craze has been going for a number of years, and has actually died down some. Secondly, the coupons earned from the online play do not apply to actual play at a casino. Coupons cannot be used on a poker table, and U.S. casinos always offer free food to players right at the table. So be careful not to entice perspective new players to something they could already have.

Ok, the point I’m trying to make is that online casinos make it easy for first timers. I wonder how many of the 1 million California online poker players were first timers and found learning online easier and non-threatning vs a brick and mortar casino.

Yes I agree. Much less intimidating when learning in private and going at your own pace.
